The 99 Classics (2nd Gen) are closed-back over-ear headphones from Meze Audio, a design-led headphone maker. The ear cups are walnut wood, joined to the spring steel headband with cast zinc parts, and the maker says every component can be replaced.
They use 40 mm dynamic drivers and detachable memory foam ear pads that clip on. The box includes a twisted OFC cable, a 3.5 mm to USB-C adapter with an integrated DAC and amp, a hard EVA carrying pouch and a 6.3 mm adapter.
