PENBLOCK is a pen box machined from a single block of metal. Press it and the pens rise into reach; close it and the desk looks clear again.
What caught our eye
- Material: BackerViews reports each body is CNC-machined from solid aluminum or Grade 5 titanium.
- Pop-up access with hidden storage and modular tools inside.
- The idea: one everyday object made better to use, rather than one more gadget on the desk.
Where it stands
The Kickstarter campaign by Y-IN launched on October 20, 2026, and the creators posted the next day that it was funded. It runs to November 16, 2026; Kicktraq showed 77 backers on October 22, 2026. No delivery date has been published that we could read.
