Violoop is a plug-in AI device from Bvio Tech, a Hong Kong company. It connects to a computer, reads what is on the screen and prepares a task across your apps, then acts only after you approve it.

What caught our eye
- Approval is physical: the creators say an action is not completed until you press the confirm button.
- Screen data stays on the device. Bvio says Violoop does not send screen information or files to the cloud, and AndroidGuys reports an 8-billion-parameter model running locally with 26 TOPS of AI acceleration.
- No subscription: New Atlas reports that you pay for the hardware only.

Where it stands
Violoop launched on Kickstarter on September 15, 2026, and the campaign runs to October 30, 2026. Kicktraq showed 5,018 backers on October 22, 2026. Press reports give different shipping months (October or November 2026), so we are waiting for the creators' own date.
