A color E-Ink canvas that shows photos and art on your desk using room light, with no backlight.
Inkanva is a full-color E-Ink canvas for the photos and artwork you want to live with. E-Ink reflects the light in the room instead of glowing, so images take on a printed, paper-like look on a desk or a shelf.
The 7.09-inch and 13.3-inch desktop canvases show 1200 × 1600 pixels at 282 PPI and charge from indoor light through a perovskite solar panel. A 28.5-inch model shows 2160 × 3060. Frames are interchangeable.
On Kickstarter, Inkanva had raised $249,922 from 577 backers by 21 October 2026, with the campaign running to 15 November 2026.

Questions people ask
Does every size charge itself from light?
No. Press coverage says only the 7.09-inch and 13.3-inch editions include the self-charging perovskite panel. The largest size does not list it.
Does the screen glow like a tablet?
No. It uses E Ink Spectra 6 color electronic paper with no backlight, so it reflects the light in the room.
Does it work with a smart home setup?
Press coverage lists Home Assistant support and an open API.
What powers it?
A 5,000 mAh battery. On the 7.09-inch and 13.3-inch editions, a perovskite panel can top it up from indoor light.
Does it use AI?
Press coverage mentions AI-generated art. We have not confirmed where the AI runs, whether a subscription is needed, which data region is used, or what works offline. We will add this once the maker states it.
Who makes it?
Inkanva, described in press coverage as a Hong Kong-based brand.
