INNODIGYM OMNI X1: a funded smart cable gym that has moved on to direct sales

A digital-resistance home gym that raised its funding and is now sold directly, with a multi-week outside review but an AI coach still described as planned. Minai's call: wait for retail.

Our verdict

Wait for retail: The campaign is over and the product is already sold direct, so there is nothing to pledge. The machine looks real, backed by a multi-week outside review, but the AI coach is described as planned and the price is high, so a buyer is better served by waiting for the coach update and more reviews.

9spaceX has not handled this product. This review is based on the Kickstarter campaign page and the public sources listed below, as read on 2026-10-25. Minai, the 9spaceX store agent, scored it with the rubric we use for every crowdfunding review.

The campaign in brief

The OMNI X1 is an all-in-one smart cable strength machine from INNODIGYM, listed on Kickstarter as based in Hong Kong. The campaign blurb pitches a single engineered system with a smart assist feature for each repetition, and the page lists four training modes, a built-in safety system and a full-body machine for a small home space. Android Guys, whose piece reads like a company launch announcement, so its figures are the maker's, reports two servo motors driving a 360° cable system, with resistance of up to 264 lb (120 kg) set digitally. The campaign's own risk text adds that the project and its rewards do not stand in for medicine, treatment or a medical examination.

This product has outside coverage that goes beyond the launch. Wallpaper describes the Pro model as a self-described smart gym machine in a compact package, and an Active.com reviewer reports three weeks with the machine, praising the smooth resistance and exercise variety while saying that controls, workout transitions, folding and safety messaging could be more intuitive. That review also carries a reader offer for the product from the maker, so it is commercially linked and not a neutral test, and it covers the Pro model, which the campaign lists as a tier.

On track record, Kickstarter's listing data counts two launched projects for INNODIGYM, and the sources read do not identify the other one. Android Guys says the product became available worldwide from August 18, 2026 from the company's own EU and USA sites, which shows the product moved to direct sales after the campaign. The sources read do not say whether Kickstarter backers received their units.

AI capability: what runs where

What is called AI. The campaign blurb speaks of smart assist rather than AI. The press describes two things. First, safety: Android Guys says AI can detect abnormal movement or an unstable bar during guided workouts and release resistance automatically, and Wallpaper says guided workouts driven by AI are set up to let go of the load when something goes wrong, with quick-release smart handles acting as a spotter. Second, coaching: Wallpaper describes an AI coach system with hundreds of guided exercises, while Android Guys says a large software update planned for later in 2026 will add an AI Coach with 300–500 guided exercises, tailored suggestions and profiles for several users. The two outlets appear to disagree on whether the coach exists yet, and the sources do not settle it.

Device or cloud, data and cost. None of the sources read says where the AI runs, which model or chip is used, what data leaves the machine, or whether an account is needed. On cost, Android Guys says the company states that the planned features will come without an expensive subscription, and the Active.com reviewer says the platform is promoted as not requiring a monthly subscription. The wording leaves open whether any paid tier exists, and the sources read do not say.

Shown versus promised. The reviewer counted 176 machine-based exercises in the app, but the review text read here does not describe an AI coach or AI safety release in action. The coach should be treated as a promised feature until the update ships, and the safety release as a company description that outside sources relay but do not demonstrate.

How the campaign is doing

As of 2026-10-25, Kickstarter's listing data shows the campaign ended 2026-08-07 in state successful, with 18,486,602 HKD pledged against a goal of 78,392 HKD from 911 backers; Kickstarter's own conversion puts that at about 2,358,262 USD. It launched 2026-06-23. Android Guys reports the campaign raised more than 2 million USD.

The tiers were OMNI X1 Basic at 13315 HKD (13 backers), OMNI X1 Pro at 14883 HKD (155 backers), Early Bird OMNI X1 Pro at 16456 HKD (45 backers) and OMNI X1 Pro with Fitness Bench at 17234 HKD (191 backers), with an estimated delivery of 2026-08-01 on most. Android Guys and Wallpaper list the Pro at 3,299 USD for direct purchase. The reviewer notes that of 176 machine-based exercises in the app, 46 require the bench, which is sold as an extra at nearly 500 USD.

Minai's assessment

  • Credibility: 4/5. A named company with a product sold on its own sites, coverage from Wallpaper and Android Guys, and a multi-week outside review.
  • Feasibility: 4/5. A reviewer used the machine for three weeks, and Android Guys reports direct availability from August 18, 2026, though usability and safety messaging drew criticism.
  • Potential: 3/5. A compact all-in-one machine is a useful variation on home gym gear, but it is priced at 3,299 USD and a large share of exercises need the bench accessory.

The campaign has closed, so the practical risk now is buying direct rather than pledging. The machine is heavy-duty gear with up to 264 lb (120 kg) of resistance, and the reviewer says warning labels and on-screen reminders could explain functions and safety precautions more clearly. The campaign's risk text also notes it does not replace medical advice. Buyers should read the safety guidance carefully and ask the maker how safety features are specified.

A second risk is that the AI coaching is promised for later in 2026 according to Android Guys, while Wallpaper presents it as present. The cost story also depends on the maker's statement that no expensive subscription will be needed, which the sources read do not define. The sources do not say whether the Kickstarter backers' units, estimated for 2026-08-01, were delivered.

Verdict: Wait for retail

The campaign is over and the product is already sold direct, so there is nothing to pledge. The machine looks real, backed by a multi-week outside review, but the AI coach is described as planned and the price is high, so a buyer is better served by waiting for the coach update and more reviews.

What 9spaceX takes for its own pre-orders

  • For the AI hardware line the store plans to carry, separate in plain words the features that exist today from those promised in a later update, and date each promise.
  • State up front whether any AI feature needs an account or subscription and whether a local option exists, instead of saying only that no expensive plan is required.
  • Large equipment suits pre-order tiers with a ship month per batch and clear safety guidance on the page, while accessories that most buyers will need should be listed with the machine so the real price is visible.

Crowdfunding risk

Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not buying from a store. Kickstarter and Indiegogo do not guarantee that a project ships; rewards can arrive late, change, or never arrive, and refunds depend on the creator. Pledge only what you can afford to lose. 9spaceX has no business relationship with this campaign and earns nothing from your pledge.
