USB Power Delivery (USB PD)
The USB standard for charging over USB-C; Revision 3.1 raised the ceiling from 100W to 240W.
Before Revision 3.1, announced in 2021, USB PD topped out at 100W over 20V with cables rated at 5A. Revision 3.1 added 28V, 36V and 48V levels for 140W, 180W and 240W.
