One clip plays at a time, as it scrolls into view.
One small motor turns a single shaft at a steady speed.
Wooden arms carry that turn out to the wings, and each arm takes it up a moment after the one before it.
That small delay is the whole trick: a motor turning at one steady speed becomes a slow, uneven glide, the way a real manta moves.

MoveArtly is new, so these come from people who bought the same Manta ray from the same workshop at a partner store. Each one names its store and is copied word for word. We picked a mix, and the critical ones stay in.
Owner photoBeyond my expectations! This is one of the most beautiful and unique things I’ve ever seen. People kept asking me where I got it from! P.S. I would absolutely love to buy one featuring a hammerhead shark! 🦈

Owner photoThis order was a risk, but it turned out to be a gorgeous, magical addition to our living room. My new favorite thing. It’s beautifully made, just exquisite really. Thank you!!!

Owner photoThe manta ray is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing to watch! I rated 4/5 stars just because the price is very high and unfortunately the manta ray I got is not nearly as dark as the ones in the ad. This was disappointing and it bothers me enough I will probably stain the wood myself so it’s darker.

Owner photoI bought this as a gift for my husband, as he loves mechanical craftsmanship, and we were both genuinely amazed by the Wooden Manta Ray. The level of detail and the smooth, flowing movement are absolutely beautiful, you can really appreciate the skill and thought behind it. It’s such a joyful piece; honestly, it brings a smile to anyone who sees it, regardless of age.

Incredible craftsmanship. I bought one for my mum and it floats proudly on her windowsill. We may have overused it though as it has developed a squeak. I seem to remember there was a “gears exposed” option which I should have taken. I’m not an engineer or craftsman myself but I’ll certainly be tinkering with it. Fantastic product

Easy enough to assemble the front and back bits and works a treat. Looks fantastic, especially when moving.

I just love watching the movement of the Ray. I have it at work and it just calms me down. Beautiful construction. I just love it. Thank you.

The manta ray is a beautiful addition to our home. The wings move smoothly and the craftsmanship is excellent. My only negative comment is that the cephalic lobes are a bit fiddly to attach and I don't want to screw them in too tightly in case I break the wood. I might attach them with wood glue so that they are more secure.

It's cool. I like the concept, Definitely A piece that call's attention. I just wish it was a little bit bigger. It was kind of small, but it is what it is.

The wood and mechanism are excellent. My only criticism is that fixing the mouth parts was difficult as the screwdriver just did not fit the screws efficiently. Luckily, I had a set of watch repairers screwdrivers, and the smallest one did the job.

It is very nice to watch and feels hypnotizing. The only little inconvenient thing is the sound of the motor, but ok. One can put music beside.

I was astounded by how beautiful this piece is. I bought not sure if I would keep or give as a gift. Now. I’m doing both! It works so smoothly and is very well made.

Really beautiful, the movement is fluid and it looks like she's really swimming, it makes very little noise which is also relaxing to hear

The manta ray is just as cool as it seems. The movement is very smooth, and it actually does make me feel calmer watching it.

The quality of this piece is outstanding. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing.

Its movement is amazing and starring at it makes me feel relaxed. only minor issue I see is the motor sound. It is really not a huge problem at all but it would have to be great if it has less motor moving sound.

A little louder than I expected, but beautiful nonetheless.

Very nice, I just imagine It a little bit bigger

The woodwork is not done very neatly (head / face).
